Brees Up for “GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week”

Posted by NewOrleansSaints.com on 09/27/2011 – 2:39 pm

QB Drew Brees, Lions QB Matthew Stafford and Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick are up for the “GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week” for games played on September 25-26 the NFL announced on Tuesday.

The “GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week” is the best moment or play of the week that represents determination and perseverance.

After tossing two interceptions earlier in the game that helped put his team in a 26-17 fourth-quarter hole, Brees threw three second-half touchdowns – two in the final period — to send New Orleans surging past the Houston Texans for a dramatic 40-33 comeback victory.

Fans may vote for one of these three moments on NFL.com/gmc beginning immediately following Monday Night Football and ending on Friday at noon ET to determine the winner.

The winner will be announced Friday during NFL Network’s “Around the League” show and then posted on NFL.com.

After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year, from among the 17 weekly winners.  Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

Love Breesus, BUT this should go to Jimmy Graham for his spectacular run that was officially downed at the 2 but where he breaks five tackles to cross the goal, never giving up. SUCH A MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
